A Message from Executive Director, Susan J. Kibbe

Good morning Members,

Hope all are well!

We are in full gear preparing for this year’s virtual annual meeting and fundraiser! We’ll be conducting our annual members’ meeting (required by our bylaws) at 1 pm on Oct. 15, 2020. The meeting will consist of the 2019 reports on issues, finances, and membership, voting on our 2021 annual agenda, and recognition of those whom have made a difference in the success of STPRA. 

Then get ready for the enjoyable portion of the day’s event beginning at 6pm! Some of us will be traveling to Fredericksburg, TX to do the “Lara Logan Live” segment, which will be followed by our live auction conducted by our auctioneer, Heather Schoenst Kaspar, with Buck Up Auctions. Viewing and bidding on the silent and live auction items will open up a week prior to the event on the 15th. You’ll be able to download an app on your tablet, cellphone, or computer to view and bid on auction items and to watch the speakers and see the live auction.

The event will be free, so we’d like to ask you to consider donating monetarily or donating an auction item, donating a sponsorship, or bidding on our silent and live auction items. We’re putting together a really great selection of items that will be sure to tickle your fancy!

We’d also like to encourage you to consider giving an Associate or Individual membership to a friend or family member to introduce them to STPRA.

Our issues subcommittees and working group have been meeting to address the most effective ways to move forward on the issues of Eminent Domain, Taxation, Carrizo cane (as it pertains to Water Conservation and Border Security), Human & Animal Health and others.

Serving on one of our issues subcommittees is not limited to directors and advisors, it is open to our membership as well; so please contact me or Sarah if you would like to serve on one!
