A Message from Executive Director, Susan J. Kibbe

Dear Members,

Well, we have another annual meeting and fundraiser under our belts. I’d like to send out warm “thank you’s” to all of you who gave of your time, contributed your hard-earned money, and worked so hard to help make the event a success!

This was the first Saturday annual meeting that we’ve had. Although we saw fewer of you, those that were with us had a great time. We are finishing up the final tally, but are happy with the financial results.

In addition to our member gatherings and informational meetings, we are planning at least one more fundraiser during the upcoming year. A spring “sporting clays” event has been proposed, so please get in touch with Sarah and let her know about other planned events in March or April of 2023 that would conflict with ours.

I’d like to invite anyone interested in serving on one or more of our issues subcommittees, to please reach out to me, Sarah, or Nicole. It is vital to the organization to hear from you and get your direct input. It will make this (Your) organization stronger and more successful.

Also, if you have a suggestion on any speakers that you would like to hear from, or a fundraising event that you think would fit well for STPRA, please reach out. We have made a difference to South Texas and the State as a whole, and it is our goal to continue being a voice for our region.

Early voting is drawing near. Please take time to exercise your constitutional right to vote for the candidate of your choice that best represents your values and who will protect the rights of landowners to use, enjoy, and prosper from the land we hold so dear.
