Dear Members,
On behalf of STPRA and myself, I’d like to wish you all a very blessed Easter, with an extra blessing of rain!
We are in the last weeks of preparing for the Clay Shoot Fundraiser in Linn-San Manuel. We are so appreciative of those who have sponsored the event so far. It’s not too late if you’d like to get your name on the banner as a team or station sponsor. Every little bit helps!
I recently was interviewed on a Center for Immigration Studies podcast. If you have some extra time to listen, here’s the link. Critiques are always appreciated.
I’ve also been invited to attend the Annual Agri Women’s Symposium in Washington D.C., in June. The segment will concentrate on “Border Security is Food Security.” I will share with the attendees how landowners are affected on and near the border, and how it has changed our way of life.
Charles has been so very busy at the Capitol in Austin. There are some very good bills that will be helpful for Agriculture, Conservation, and the landowner; but there are also bills that will negatively impact them. You as a member of this organization should be very proud of him and the amazing effort he is expending on our behalf.
Please let me know if there are any issues that you have and we’ll work to help make them better.
Until next month,
