After significant negotiations this past spring, STPRA was able to finalize a deal with two big names in the natural carbon sequestration space.  Grassroots Carbon and Earth Optics have teamed up with STPRA to provide ecosystem services to our membership.  The board felt that working with these two companies would give our members an opportunity to put some cash in their pockets and also put some needed funds back into the association.  While an ecosystems contract may not be a fit for every operation, for those that do choose to participate, $.25 per acre will be paid to the organization annually.
